How to Improve Relativity's Communication Analysis with Chronicle

One of the most potent aspects of Relativity’s Name Normalization feature is the ability to generate Entity objects. That isn't too exciting, but the Entity objects can be used to add a Communication Analysis widget to your Document List – and that's very exciting!
But if you’ve moved over to using Chronicle’s Name Normalization are you getting left out in the cold with no communication analysis to speak of? No!
Here's how a few extra steps will move your Normalized Values over into Entities in three simple steps for use in better Communication Analysis.
First: Normalize with Chronicle like you already do.
Normalizing names in Chronicle was designed to be as user-friendly as possible, and we’re proud of the feedback we’ve gotten over the years from customers about how easy it is to use.
So, to kick off the process of generating the data for the Communication Analysis widget, all you’ve got to do is use Chronicle’s Normalization Projects.
Create a project (pick fields and a saved search)
Normalize the values (with or without using Guided Normalizations)
Write the normalized values to fields so you can use them in your Priv Logs (or don’t - this is not required for generating the Entities for the Communication Analysis widget)
Second: Run a Relativity Script.
Chronicle's Entity Information Relativity Script will take all of the Normalized Values you’ve specified and generate a file containing all the Entity information, including links to their associated Documents.
There are five pieces of information you’ll need to select to run the script:
From Field
To Field
CC Field
BCC Field
Delimiter (for the list of documents in the load file)
Once you run this script, export the results to CSV, which will be used as our Entity load file.
Third: Load the Entity information via the RDC.
Log into the RDC and select your workspace.
Change the artifact selector to “Entity” and click on Tools-->Import-->Entity Load File
Select the file that was generated via the Relativity Script, and specify the encoding and delimiters
Specify the field mapping
For the Overwrite setting, select Append/Overlay
For the Multi-Select Field Overlay Behavior, select Merge Values
Select Import-->Import File
