Redact all Comments

The spreadsheet project has been upgraded with an option for redacting all comments. This new option lets you choose between removing comments from documents completely or replacing the comment text with a word or phrase of your choice.

Projects can be created and run with just this option selected and every document in the saved search will be checked for comments. This makes it easy to include as a part of bigger projects or running it out of band.

Parity with Comments

Another big project upgrade is that we've modified the behavior of Redact all headers and footers and Redact all Excel objects to function like the new comments feature. In previous versions of Blackout, you would have to include at least one other word/phrase/regex rule in order for the project to run.

Additionally, objects, headers, and footers would only be removed from documents if there were other rules matches. When using these options in 4.1 onward, you can run the projects without rules and every document in the saved search will be checked for matches.

Spreadsheet Quality Control

The spreadsheet quality control related items pane has been migrated to the bottom pane and upgraded with tons of new information, filters, sorting, and filtered reject/accept all!

Take a look at the filters in action.

These upgraded filters and expanded information enable new workflows and greatly improved quality review process.

Blackout Native Redaction Assistant

The Blackout Native Redaction Assistant has also been migrated to the bottom pane.

Similar to the related items pane, the bottom panel will still continue to remember where your reviewers were working last when navigating from document to document.
