Our Story
At Milyli, we are a talented, hard working team of technically savvy professionals that are passionate about everything we do. We love problem solving. We love writing software. So naturally, we love writing software to solve problems. We believe that you can work hard and provide great solutions while still following your principles and having fun. And we've built Milyli to achieve just that.

How We Got Our Start
Way back in 2008, a trio of technologists stepped out into the world. Having spent the majority of the previous decade working for both consulting shops and software product companies, these three had the opportunity to see the industry in action and start developing their own style and approach to the task of building software. After many long discussions on how to be the best (at everything), and calculations on how this could actually work, the team set out with a vision for growing a company where they could help people make it like they like it. They hung out a shingle of their own and Milyli came into being.
What's In A Name?
There are actually conflicting stories on the origin of our name. Some believe that it goes way back (almost 10 years) to an incident involving an afternoon break, a football, and some oncoming traffic. Other accounts involve brainstorming after work at the local pub. However you say it (and we'll get to that in a moment), it means one thing -- Make It Like You Like It. Shorten that up, and you've got Milyli (you might say we have a thing for acronyms). But, you ask, what does Make It Like You Like It mean? For us, it's two things. First off, we build custom software. We work with you to understand what your needs are and then we build solutions customized to your particular problem, thus, making it like you like it. At the same time, we've got a vision for software development that involves working hard to ensure quality of product and quality of code, which it turns out is how we like it.
I'm sure by now you're probably wondering how the heck to pronounce Milyli. It's simple - you just need to remember that it rhymes with "The Lily"
[muh-lil-ee]
